I visited this place in the evening around sunset and it turned out to be a great time to visit. There are two options- to go to level with the open terrace and higher skydome.
I went with my local tour guide and he used his card to buy the ticket from kiosk, which saved the hassle of waiting in queue.
The management of the tower explained about the history of tower in farsi before going up, which I failed to follow.

This tower is really tall that allows you to watch over the whole city. The view to the north is very nice due to mountains and green areas. I suggest Milad tower to tourists to have a total viewpoint about Tehran and its vast area. But there are some problems like limited parking lot , limited view due to safety barriers , long elevator queues during holidays and ....

We have been taken for a reception to dine at the restaurant at the top of tower. Seeing Tehran from so high was amazing. The restaurant is revolving so that you can see the whole Tehran.

beside of structural properties, here is a must see place specially on holidays and occasions. great nature and views make milad tower the most important visiting spot in tehran.
