This is one of the touristy places in Tehran. Converting foreign currency, makes this visit very cheap. Let's consider positives and negatives:
Positive: Cheap, centrally located, 360 degree view of Tehran form the top , very friendly (almost too friendly!) English speaking guides.
Negative: Due to the metallic mesh on the top, you cannot take any nice pictures. Also, it Takes for ever to get up there and come down. Although they have working user friendly elevators, they don't allow you to ride them freely to get up and come down. You have to wait for a certain number of visitors to be present, and you have to wait for the tour guide to start working and stop chatting with her/his friends before she/he agrees to take you up or let you come down. When I visited, we had to wait 45 min to get out of the tower. I was almost considering free falling ;) You can end up wasting a lot of hours up there.
If you are just visiting Iran for a few days, there is so much more to see. I am not quiet sure if I would put this on the top of my list.

Milad tower is located in center of tehran. Around ii you see highway and big uiversity that is seen with nice view. At night it is more beautifull with good illumination. You can eat delicious food and drink and see all of the city during chatting with friend. But organization of staff is not good and some of them is not polite but it is wonderfull and cheap!!!

Though the construction is not something very special, the landscape, especially at night, is awesome. You may have experienced watching Tehran's nights from Tochal, but having a 360 panoramic view is a new memorable experience. The city that never sleeps... and all its lights.

The complex has several parts:
- Fountains: fairly beautiful.
- A showroom: not very interesting pictures.
- Food Court: at this time has nothing especial! Don't be surprised if you find out that half of the dishes listed in the menu is not available!
- VIP restaurant: too expensive but worth trying if you have a discount coupon!

Try to go to Milad Tower in a moderately windy day, though Tehran is usually polluted. New Year's holidays is the best time to go to Milad.
