Mr Mousavi and his hospitality for sure is an advantage of the hotel, very helpful and kind. Basic rooms, very comfortable beds, "western" shared toilets available if you need. Typical breakfast - Nan (bread), quark cheese, jam and boiled egg - and tea of course. Maybe not in the center, but you're not caught up in trafic jams on the way to the airport. Still close to some points, like Grand Bazaar. Not very far from bus and metro and quite easy to catch a cab.

Room tip: no elevator, poor wifi in higer floors

Booked this room (with attatched bathroom) a week before arrival by phone & email. Staff was nice&relaxed. We arrived (with toddler) in the middle of the night (Well, 5 am), no problem. We could check in and didn't have to pay an extra night. Room was 40 or 45 dollars Inc simple but okay breakfast. Location is good and staff very friendly, especially for the little one. I'd recommend staying here, but with a kid we'd stay somewhere closer to a park in a dirty smoggy city like Tehran.

If you are arriving in in the country for the first time and are feeling somewhat overwhelmed by the size and pace of Tehran, this may be one of the best places to go. Mr Mousavi absolutely lives up to his reputation as 'the personification of Iranian hospitality' and will selflessly devote his time to helping you get settled and organised in Iran. The hotel is conveniently located between Imam Khomeini and Mellat metro stations (the metro is very easy to use and will get you to practically any part of the city) in a busy car-parts district in the centre of the city. The included breakfast was very good, the room was comfortable and the other staff were all very friendly. Highly recommended as a starting point for Iran.

Room tip: wifi is much stronger on the 1st floor than the 2nd

The hotel is very well located, at walking distance from many tourist attractions. While the hotel facilities aren't so special, the kindness of it's manager mr. Mousavi is. He realy made our trip a load easier and unforgettable. He gave us a load of tips about where to go and how, and during our entire journey through Iran he was willing to answere all of our questions. We could always text or call him which was very helpful.

Since mr Mousavi has a load of contacts all over Iran, he was more then once able to arrange very nice hotels for good prices. Therefore I recommend travellers who are going to Iran to start at this place and ask mr Mousavi for advice when needed. He will definatly knows how to get the best out of your trip.

Room tip: Aks mr Mousavi for advice
