Only one regret: photography not allowed inside the calligraphy halls

The exhibits on display were breathtaking and very well set out. Quite a small museum, but allow more time than you would think as the calligraphy does warrant close inspection.

Beit al Quaran that translates to the House of Quaran …… A very simple yet ornate structure in the city area… holds some very historic Qarans that size from nail size to huge table size…. Observing the various scripts used and the various art forms within is really interesting… worth a visit. Need not spend more than an hour or so. Beit Al Qyaran also houses a small mosque which is worth a peep

A unique collection over three floors. Well displayed ancient texts as well as newer artistic illuminated manuscripts.
