Dear Sir / Madam,

We thank you for your kind comments and are glad to know that your stay with was comfortable. With regards to the WIFI, due to heavy downloads and usage, there could have been a slow connection in the internet. Otherwise, recently our internet systems have been upgraded to provide higher speed browsing.

We certainly look at every opportunity to improve ourselves and we assure you that during your next stay with us, you will find us exceeding your expectations.

With best regards

Actually, my impression was much better than many reviews I have read before this stay. Staff was pleasant and efficient, and supermarket was nearby. Irish pub and Italian ristorante were also good. Gym facility was well equipped and clean. If you do not raise your expectations too high, this hotel can be a good choice. Personally, more breakfast choices may be great.

Dear Mr. Dcryraihara,

Thank you for your valuable comments and positive feed back on your recent stay with us. It a truly a satisfying feeling to know that being our guest you have had a pleasant experience with us. It is our constant effort to provide quality service and value for money for customers who choose to stay with us.

With regards to your comment on having more choices during breakfast, we have looked into the same and apart from the cold breakfast corner, we have added a selection of fruits, hot dishes, additional choices of juices, and varieties of different breads to choose from for your breakfast.

We are sure that during your next stay with us, you will experience our hospitality with a touch of varieties during the mornings.

With best regards,

This hotel is ideally placed, the apartments are lovely and nicely furnished. The towels are fab and plenty of them. Toilet roll is cheap and nasty.
My main issue (and why it does not get 4 stars) is that the staff do not listen. We were not given key cards when we checked in, we were told we could collect them on our return to the hotel, we made it very clear we needed 2 - this was not done resulting in 1 of our party being escorted back to the room by a porter with a master key.
Our second problem is that the smoke alarm was beeping, we reported this to the porter and to the receptionist - both assured us it would be fixed... it was not and hence beeped intermittently all night.

It was a big room, but there was a lot of wasted space. What really annoyed me was the zany lighting. It might have looked groovy in the 1970s, but I found it impossible to read a book in the room. Can we have one reading light please. Big TV with an excellent selection of channels. Good location if you have a car. Otherwise you'll be using taxis to go everywhere. Utterly absymal breakfast selection. I think the worst I've ever seen.

I came to Bahrain for the weekend with my family and stayed at Al Safir mainly to check out an apartment option in Manama that we hadn't tried out before, and I can safely say that when in Manama again, we'll definitely be staying at Al Safir for at least another weekend. We stayed in the apartment/tower building of the Al Safir complex, which is literally about twenty paces from the main hotel building, and has a lobby surrounded by two equally favourable and family/couple-friendly restaurants (an Italian place called Cucina, and a British pub). The check out was very quick and the staff were very decent; more than willing to help and always very friendly. The entire place was spotless, and we were very pleased with the room we received. It was an open, spacious, two-bedroom plan with very modern and comfortable furniture in great repair. No view, but then again, Manama doesn't really have any views... anywhere. We were conveniently close to many Manama neighbourhoods and restaurants, but on the other side of the city to the malls (i.e. City Centre, Seef, Mall of Bahrain, etc.), so all in all a reasonable location a ten minute drive from the malls on a day with good traffic. The hotel provides free transportation to the Manama airport, making the hotel option a great choice for overnight businessmen/women, and a buffet breakfast is included in the round hotel price for guests in both the hotels suites and the apartments each morning of your stay. While the buffet has no pork or alcohol, it offers a wide selection of fruits, starch, meat, and pastries; nothing astounding, but very decent nonetheless. Altogether, my family and I enjoyed out stay at the Al Safir Tower in Manama, and will recommend it to our friends.

Room Tip: We stayed in the apartment/tower section, which was very near the hotel, and two favourable restaura...

Good hotel. Breakfast was ok included in our price. Concierge Micheal was excellent and organised a bus to ferry 16 of us to a restaurant. Excellent for a quick escape from the sandpit. Bennigans (under hotel) was good value too.

I had the desk at Gulf Air book this hotel for me, as part of my 18 hour layover, en-route to Oman. It was a really nice experience. The hotel is very close to the Al-Fatih Grand Mosque.

The lunch and dinner buffet is delightful, and as a freebie, the hotel provides a free shuttle to the airport.
