“Exceptional Hotel”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

Chose this hotel because it was the newest of the Elite Properties and I had stayed with them before with success. This newest addition did not disappoint! I was staying for an extended period (32 days while my flat was being prepared). The staff was professional and friendly. I had a concern about noise with the nightclub being on the ground floor but was pleasantly surprised that I slept great and heard no noise… probably because the design has 3 floors of parking between the ground floor and the guest rooms (kudos to that engineer).

Best Part: The 3rd floor gentlemen who serviced my room daily. They were great! When I left I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends. I’ll give a second best also… the gym is excellent. Best you’ll find in a hotel in Bahrain. I will give specific mention to the female trainer there - a young Italian lady who was always friendly and can give a great work out to people of all levels.

Worst Part: There really wasn’t anything negative. I was going to say a bit pricy, but it really wasn’t when compared to other hotels in Bahrain. Forcing me to pick something is that there is a lot of construction in the area. To walk anywhere you have to walk through dirt lots, but I would expect that to be filled in within the year as the surrounding construction projects finish.

Bottom Line: Great experience that I would give my highest recommendation.

Fairly new hotel. Our 1 bedroom suite (3rd floor) is larger than regular hotel room, with a kitchennete-microwave, small bar fridge, and an electric kettle. There is a separate bedroom and a living room area and a separate bathroom. Bed was comfortable (although, a duvet would have been nice to have!), AC was working very well. Breakfast was included for free and it was more than enough to start the day with - quite a few selections of cold and hot items. The only negative thing I noticed - the thin wall - I heard people walking, talking, closing doors in the hallway; the music from the nightclub on the ground floor is so loud that you can also feel the room shake from the bass sound and it starts early in the night until the wee hours of the morning. Then, waking up - you can hear the sound of the construction noise (pounding) next door!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor to avoid the loud music from the nightclub.

Stayed for one night a couple of weekends ago, staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Rooms are all mini suites, with a small kitchen area, fridge and storage.

Bed was very comfortable and the shower was a great walk in rain shower - very refreshing.

Hotel has a nice pool area on the 1st floor with an outdoor bar area.

Location is great in Juffair, plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment in this part of Bahrain.

Great value for money also.

I would highly suggest a stay here - you will love it.

Will go back again for sure.

Room Tip: High floor and away from lifts.

My one night stay at the Elite Crystal was part of the Gulf Air package for transiting passengers. Elite Crystal is part of the Elite Hospitality Group of Suite Hotels and Residences.

The Location: Elite Crystal is located in the trendiest part of Bahrain - Juffair. This is the 'happening' place where most expatriates live. Although it is in Juffair, the property is not in a 'walking distance' to any restaurants, stores, supermarkets, pubs etc. You woud need a taxi or rent a car. I would recommend renting a car since the cost of a day's rental is way cheaper that a return taxi fare from Juffair to Seef Mall.

The Suite's (307) Bedroom: It is surprisingly large, exquisitely decorated for the travelling executive. It has a king size bed, a wall mounted TV, a safe, a desk for you to work and all the amenities you would expect from a 5-Star hotel. The only downside is that the bathroom is not connected to the bedroom.

The Living Room: Certainly large enough to have two extra beds (if you are a family).

The Kitchenette: Besides the Refrigerator, it has everything that you need for heating up food including a microwave oven and a kettle. The 'dining table' sort of extends from the cabinet and there are two high stools.

The Breakfast: This is served on the 1st floor restaurant named La Cascada. The buffet spread can be described as a delectable and sumptuous with a combination of Western and Arabic varieties.

WiFi: Complimentary and is available from your suite

Would I come back again? Most certainly!

Room Tip: Try getting a room on the higher floors for a better view.

Pick up from the airport was provided having pre-supplied flight details. Accommodation was first class with a suite that included both a separate lounge and kitchen area.

A new hotel (open approximately one month) and whilst no separate bar existed as yet (apart from the pool bar) staff served drinks both on the terrace and in the restaurant upon request.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and a short drive into town by taxi could be arranged within 10 min by the concierge at the reception desk.

WiFi in the bedrooms was free of charge as is now expected in hotels used for business. A late check-out (16.00 hrs) to correspond with flight times was provided at no extra cost.

This hotel is located in the Juffair district of Manama and for those not familiar with Bahrain this is a quiet district and no problems were encountered whilst staying there.
