“Proper Boutique Hotel”
Reviewed July 20, 2014

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the peaceful, calming stay.
Check in was a breeze with the receptionist being really helpful, ( the staff at this place really seem genuinely pleased to help you, not the usual false hello's you normally get ).
Room seemed brand new, comfy bed, large walk in shower, good selection of channels on the TV and most importantly for Manama its really quiet and peaceful....the room service is also excellent with PORK BACON, excellent selection of food for all tastes and restaurant quality ( club sandwich / banoffee pie were particularly good ). Wifi is free in the room and reasonably fast.
Theres a big pool and a couple of restaurants attached to the hotel which we didn't use but looked ok..
Breakfast was first class, buffet affair with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes PORK sausages / real bacon, if you wanted omellete / fried eggs they will cook them to order..good selection of fresh breads too..
Lounge is great for coffee and there is also an outside walled garden, again both so peaceful.
We used the hotel car for a trip to the malls, only paid 5 bhd which is cheaper than the local taxi.
Its nice to come across a proper luxury hotel in Manama, will definitely go back.

I always stay at this hotel when in Bahrain. Just love it. Amazing service, very personal. You feel like at home and they really take good care of you. Free airport pick up, nice pool with Bar. Great lounge music. Just perfect. Every afternoon they leave you some nice sweets at your room. Breakfast with the best capuccino and bacon in the region. Masso fine dining Italian restaurant is next door. Hotel manager Reza is all about great service.

Just perfect, the staff in this 20 room hotel go the extra mile to ensure their guests feel totally at home. From check-in to check out we were made to feel so welcome we were sorry to leave. Modern clean rooms, good breakfast and a lovely pool/garden area. Can't wait to return.

Lovely boutique hotel in a convenient location. What makes it so great is the excellent service from all of the staff who are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good, the porridge is delicious and the coffee perfect. We didn't get to try the pool but hopefully next time. I will definitely stay here again.

I am a frequent visitor to Bahrain. Most of the times I stay at the Palace Boutique hotel. The place is amazing elegant and quiet. The rooms are modern, large and comfortable and friendly staff. The hotel has its privet parking and “Masso” the Italian restaurant plus the Polo Bar pool side. I prefer staying in The Palace Boutique every time I visit Bahrain.

Our second stay here and even better this time! Exceptional service from staff who all seem to thoroughly enjoy offering the little extras with smiles inclusive :) Went for a quick cool down dip after dinner and was amazed to have two staff immediately poolside offering drinks and preparing chairs with fresh towels. Rooms great size with choice of executive or regular - executive comes with a huge bath which would take hours to fill - l'occitane toiletries and lovely fluffy dressing gowns. Pool area could do with some renovations but pool water sparkling clean and bar menu was excellent - gorgeous fresh salads and sandwiches. Breakfast range great (pork offered) and plans to offer a la carte selection in the near future would be a nice idea (the pancakes currently on offer need some work). Within walking distance of the Adalyia restaurant scene. This is a superb boutique hotel with exceptional staff, excellent management and exceptional value for money.

Stayed at the Palace for 2 nights on business. I was met at the airport by a smartly dressed driver and from that point forward, the stay went without a hitch. Check-in was friendly and efficient and my room was clean, spacious and modern. Breakfast had a good combination of hot and cold dishes with a slightly western slant (there was not a great deal of Middle Eastern breakfast fayre). The hotel probably benefits from its relatively small size making it easier for the staff to remember who you are and which room you're in giving it a more professional feel when they can address you directly. I was surprised (and delighted) when I asked for a taxi to a nearby hotel where I was having a meeting to be offered a free shuttle there in the hotel's car. Nice touch! There is free WiFi but this got very slow mid-evening. Check-out and the transfer back to the airport was equally professional. The hotel is close to a busy roundabout so there was a constant road noise in my room but this was white noise rather than car horns and no more troublesome than the usual whine from air-conditioning units.
