...and the atmosphere is, well, different! Do not expect pretentiousness or five star interiors but you won't regret going here. At under BD10 for two people this is a bargain. The food is tasty. The portions are plentiful. And Filipino soap operas are surprisingly mesmerising despite (because of?) not understanding a word.
If you're bargain hunting in the souk this is a welcome respite with good, honest food. If, like me you know the square root of **** all about Filipino food there is an element of pot luck but you can always play safer with some of the Thai staples.
Go through Bab al-Bahrain (towards the souk), turn left. Go 20-30m, look up the first street on the right and you'll see it 2 doors down on the right. Enjoy.
