“Well appointed hotel in Riyadh”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

The hotel was well priced and fairly centrally located although a little too far out for me for business across the city.
The restaurant served an excellent breakfast but at this time of year the evening left you virtually solo at dinner.
Nice quiet coffee shop and attentive staff made the downtimes pleasant. Rooms are a good size and comfortable beds. For me the down side was lack of choice in non-smoking rooms.
The hotel taxis were of good standard but the drivers were a little short on knowledge but maybe that was because my destinations were a might different to the usual.
I would go back again but ensure I reserved a non- smoker this time.

I had bad experience during the check-in service in this hotel.
I checked-in and went directly to the wonderful dinner buffet behind the reception. After dinner, I found out that my room was given to someone else while my stuffs was already there!!! Reception desk quickly tried to correct things while offering me a complement green tea in the lobby. They gave me another room without view .. just tilted glass and with half of lightening burned out. My clothes were returned to me upside down, and again they tried to correct things by offering me a complement express ironing service to return my stuffs clean and tidy again.
To be honest, they have delicious dinner and breakfast buffet. Sorry no more information as it was business trip for only one night.

Room Tip: Some room has no view! Only tilted glass (like a wall nothing to see at all).

The hotel is very nice and quiet with excellent rooms. The check-in and check-out was very fast and easy with a very welcoming staff. The rooms are big and in new conditions but my room did not have a view as the windows were sandblasted which felt little awkward. The breakfast is good with many varieties and the lunch was also good. Great hotel for business but it is far from the city and very near the Diplomatic Quarter. Overall the hotel is highly recommended.

Nice rooms, good food, staff attentive, good place to stay outside of the city - but the downside is that you are outside the city - not that taxis are expensive. If you want the diplomatic quarter (lets face it thats probably why you've chosen this hotel), its well placed.

Very long walk to rooms if you are at the far end (saves going to the gym) and the hairdryers are useless!

Room Tip: ask for a room nearer the lobby to save yourself a longer round trip to the restaurant/gym etc

We have stayed at hotel numerous times and never disappointed . Always clean and staff very friendly. Food is very tasteful and reasonable. Rooms very comfortable. I would like to see free wifi in the rooms instead of the lobby only.

Let me start by saying the front desk staff is wonderful, particularly the evening staff. Food is good and there is a nice selection. The only drawback is the lack of access to the fitness center for females.

This is one of a great hotels managed by Marriott. the rooms are very spacious and the furneture are well designed and selected. Food is very delicious. Meeting rooms are well equiped and staff are very helpful. the location of the hotel is a bit away from the city center which make it very calm. transportation is available with reasonable price.

Room Tip: select a room that is away from the highway to have quite room!
