there are 2 branches of this restaurant
1- @ Al Takhasusi Road : the food is better at this restaurant , but it has only Singles section , the family sections opens on Friday only.
2- @ King Abdulaziz Road : this branch has a a family section all week.

The restaurant has an authentic atmosphere and the food is traditional Saudi Food .. and it tastes so good,
the dishes i tried : Badia rice with meat
the also serve Camel's Meat and its very delicious
the staff is very helpful
the prices are good
the atmosphere is excellent
i would definitley recommend this restaurant to all visitors of Riyadh since it reflects the authentic and tradional aspects of Saudi Arabia

I love going there on at least a monthly basis. The selection is very good and taste is excellent. To taste traditional Saudi food, just go there.

Best Place for rice, meat and traditional Saudi dishes. its always full and need to come early every time find a place to set.
I advise anyone to try the non-rice dishes even if their names are a bit strange

Very much the same as a Najd Village Food is local and served on the floor as local custom you can eat with knife and fork but more fun with just using right hand. This one is near the Arabian Homes Compound and has some old cars outside.

We arrived at Al-Najdiyah Village a few minutes before the last prayer of the day so the doors were locked. Then the doors opened and friendly, smiling manager met us and escorted us through this unique building. We followed him through a maze which was lined with private rooms separated by Arabic blankets. Arriving at our room, we removed our shoes before entering and took our spot on the carpeted floor. A waiter layed down a round mat which served as our table. He brought us some delicious Arabic coffee and poured it in a tiny stream from a decorative brass pot into tiny cups. Oh the smell of cardomom was so aromatic. Along with the coffee he served dates. We were given a menu to decipher while our waiter patiently kneeled on the ground in front of us. We ordered a number of items and they arrived within 5 minutes. Then our feast began. Everything was very good, plentiful and reasonably priced. After dinner we were served tea with mint. Overall a lovely, relaxing and memorable evening. Please note that we ate at the Al-Najdiyah Village near the university which allowed families any time of the week. I am told the other does not. The only negative I found was sitting on the floor and eating is tough on older knees but it was also a lot of fun!
