Owner description: This holy stone is the eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba, the ancient stone building towards which all Muslims pray. Many Muslims believe that the stone (originally white but now black from absorbing the sins of man) fell from heaven during the time of Adam and Eve.

black stone is one of a kind, a stone not from earth - as said- you are lucky if you could touch it during your Tawaf,
hardely to reach it during these days of Hajj as the huge number of piligrims performing tawaf is incredible.

It is the extraordinary place for you to visit. If you think the 5th of pillars of islam need to be implemented, the answer is yes you have to perform hajj in Mecca.
This place is prohibited for non muslim, it is written by Saudi Government by big sign before entering the border of mecca city.

In my couple of trips I could not get near the black stone. I do not think the authorities can do any thing considering the large number of people visiting all the time.
