“Umrah - Safa to Marwa”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

As part of the Umrah ritual we ladies walked between Safa & Marwa on the second floor. It took us about 10-15 mins. each way, there are plenty of Zam Zam water fountains along the way to drink from. My husband & son did their walk on the ground floor and it takes slightly longer, plus there are small tiles on the floor at each end which can hurt your feet! Safa is now just a small piece of the mountain protected behind a glass case, Marwa end is just a small area of pebbles and rocks which you can walk over. If you have young children I would recommend you do the walk on the upper floors because it's less crowded. Hope this helps.

“No clear direction to find this.”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

You can't see the kaba from this indoor long stretch of parallel
Gallery. The building works have blocked the view of the kaba but people still pray towards it when they reach the end.
