The hotel was a godsend after a gruelling Umrah, but the staff were cold, non-responsive and utterly oblivious to customer service. The desk manager won't talk to me and routed all his answers non-verbally or by grunts. His demeanor suggested that he'd be much happier if I just vanished so he won't have to deal with me. Very disappointing!
To top it off, their credit card machine was broken and I ended up paying extra when I paid in dollars to compensate for that.
Room service is non-existent. After trying for about 30 minutes, we decided to just walk down to the main souk and find something to eat there by ourselves.
Rooms are clean and showers work. Locks on the doors don't (at least didn't in our room)
