Stayed for 1 night.
A neat and clean rooms. Toilets were spotless. Breakfast was okay. Room service is also good.
We had requested for a non smoking room. But unfortunately they have allocated us a smoking room. After check-in we went immediately to perform umra without notice it. When we returned in the evening, while complaining, initially they were not agreeing to shift to a non smoking room. After lots of argument, finally they have shifted to a smaller room with a queen size bed. Anyway we were tired and slept without complaining.
Advise to the visitors, make sure the rooms are as per your request. If the office people's shift has changed, they don't accommodate your change of room.

Room Tip: Nonsmoking rooms are terrible to sleep if you are a non smoker.

This was the second time for me to stay at this hotel, and I was satisfied just like last time. Location is perfect, very convenient facilities, the partial view to the Haram was ok, very quiet, and nice furniture. The room was comfortable and very clean but small, although the bathroom was nicely spacious.
Breakfast was very good and the view to the Haram from the restaurant was excellent (you have to come early to get the right tables though :)

Overall, and considering its competitive price, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located about 150 meters from The Haram,s Bab-e-Abdul Aziz, which is the most central gate and entrance.
It is about a 3 minute walk from this main entrance.
Hotel is pretty neat and clean and the service is excellent. The breakfast is pretty sumptuous, with a vast variety of pastries, cakes, fruits , cereals and other items , including but not limited to some Arabic foods.
In addition, there is a chef present to make you hot and simmering eggs, with your choice of fillings for omletes etc .He is most humble and really tries hard to please plenty of people who all have different requests for their individual omletes fillings in the mornings.
Revenue Manager here, is very pleasant, speaks good English and is genuinely eager to ensure you have a memorable stay.We sure did.
We were extremley satisfied with our stay of six days, February 24- March 03,13.
We will recommend this hotel to our friends and Family and will be pleased to stay here ,if returned to Mecca in future.

Well there are so many flaws that i don't know where to start with...
I traveled to this hotel from riyadh with my 2 friends. As my 2 friends are also working in sheraton hotel riyadh they convinced me to book le meridien makkah as sheraton and le meridien both are starwood chain.Upon arrival there was no bell boy to help us with luggage.there was only 1 bell boy who was managing everyone's stuff so we had to wait approximately half an hour.Check in wasn't a problem.Once i the room we realised that it was too hot and we called reception to check out the air conditioner. a guy arrived after 15 minutes and started checking the room temperature.the room consisted of 2 air conditioner openings in the room but 1 was closed when is asked him about the 2nd opening he told me that we've closed it coz of personal reasons which was shocking.then the guy left saying that he'll check it in the main control room. after waking up i called reception to send a dental kit as i forgot to bring my tootbrush. Here's where the disaster started....when i called the reception the recptionist answered my call and couldn't understand english so he hung up. i called the guy again n he replied that he has already spoken to room service about dental kit.Well i waited 40 minutes but nothing then 1 of my friends went down to the reception in order to bring it himself but the recptionist told him that it'll be in our room shortly and after that i waited more for half an hour so almost 1.5 hour...I was so angy that i wished like speaking to starwood CEO n when i went down after taking shower there was no one to complain to. at last when i found the duty manager he was playing with his mobile in lobby.I went with 2 persons who themself worked in hotel line and this is how we were treated....shame starwood that was the forst n last time i visited u

good hotel excellent location. spacious rooms. Breakfast is very good and staff are very friendly and helpful. speakers in the hotel are connected to the Haram so you can here the azan in your room. Just one issue - the toilet is facing the Kabaah. Not sure why this was designed like that!

It was a nice stay at Makkah even though we had lot of hard times during our trip. We reached the hotel late than planned schedule. The check-in was very fast and the room was well maintained to receive us. The breakfast was adequate and comfortable at the 08th floor restaurant. We had not much to ask for support from the hotel staff because everything was well prepared for us. We wanted to check out little late and they were ready to accept up to 03.00pm. We believe the room charges were the best available for a five star hotel in makkah

Room Tip: The rooms at the top floors are better because they can get a good view of makkah and the elevators...
