I stayed here for one night but could've stayed much longer, an excellent hotel with clean, air-conditioned rooms and a great restaurant, all for a very good price. The staff were friendly and helpful, one of them even gave me a free mini-tour of St George's Church and recommended all the best places to see in Madaba. He was very informative and interesting to listen to, he also introduced me to other people in the town involved in making mosaics & rugs. For the price paid, worth every penny.

The Queen Ayola is the Best hotel I stayed in Jordan!!Cheap price!!Clean room(with Air Condition)!!good restaurant on Ground floor. you may also get room upgrade if in low season. The most important thing is the staffs are so friendly. You can ask any information you want to know in Madaba. At first, we only stayed 1 day but finally we changed our mind to stay 1 more day. here we met many nice travellers and also local people. Great experience in Queen Ayola and wonderful Madaba.

Stayed in the Queen Ayola for three nights and loved it. Clean rooms with always working hot water and air conditioning. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and so incredibly enthusiastic about Madaba and knowledgeable about Jordan. Food in the restaurant was tasty (ask about the Jordanian special). Madaba is a great location, a lovely little clean city with much history, close to the airport and a great base with which to visit all of Jordan.

We stayed in the Queen Ayola for one night on our way through Jordan & can honestly say that the service level we received was by far the best ever! Nothing is a problem that can't be solved. For example when we asked about the dolmen field in the area (Wadi Jadid) we were taken there by private vehicle! Their knowledge of the whole country is astounding. The rooms are past their sell by date but we believe that renovation work is to begin shortly but don't let that put you off staying there. Thanks to everyone at the Queen Ayola!

Important Note: Owner's have changed since the last Lonely planet guide review. They reformed the hotel and make great improvment.
it was our first stop on arrival in March 2012. We planned to stay only 2 nights in the hotel and finally stayed 4 nights as we felt like at home and met really great people! The hotel is ideally situated in the historic centre, close to the St George's Church, in a shopping street. We parked our rented car every day just in front of the hotel. The room was simply decorated but clean and quiet with hot shower, television and heater. The home cooked jordanian meals offered in the cosy restaurant are delicious and good budget. But the most important was the welcoming of all the team, they have been most than friendly with us, always helping in any situation, advising about interesting places and local shops (2 of them are profesional guides), always good mood and open mind, interesting stories and topics, a lot of jokes and fun!! they always took care of us and our belongings. Customers were all ages and nationalities, also local people. It was really hard to leave them and we finally returned 3 days more just before leaving Jordan. We really had a great time in Queen Ayola!
Even if you are not staying in this hotel, don't hesitate to stop there just for a coffee or meal break as you will enjoy for sure!
