This is a Best Western, so we know is just a standard place, with old fashion furniture. The room claniness wasn t the best, it could have been way better. When we arrived the hot water and the heater weren t working properly, but afetr a few calls it s been fixed.
The breakfast eventhought there was a wide variety, not even the bread was good.
I found it a little bit expensive considering the place it was and the hotel if I compare with other hotels better rated I stayed, like the Movenpick.
But it is a hotel just to spend the night.

Rooms are clean and very spacious. We had a triple room which normally means throwing in another bed in a double room but this was actually a proper triple room. Bathroom was clean, and housekeeping very good. We only had breakfast at this hotel as we were out most of the day and it did the job. Though do get there early as it's not a very busy hotel the later you go the more dried out scrambled egg you get!

I didn't give it 5 stars as the location isn't the best. Town centre is a good 10 minute walk away and it's about a 45 minute drive from Amman. It worked out best for us as Amman was snowed under when we were there!

I spent a night at this hotel in Madaba in the middle of the start of the crazy snow storm that swept the Middle East. The staff was great, the wireless Internet was easy to access, and the restaurant served a nice dinner! The best part was the ride to the airport in Amman delivered by Fakhrey Abu Saeed. He got me to the airport safely in the middle of terrible weather. His number is 962 79 51 27 550. He also gives tours.

My sister and I stayed here twice for one night at the start and another at the end of our stay in Jordan as Madaba is not that far from Queen Alia Airport and a good starting point for travelling to the Dead Sea, Petra and other parts of southern Jordan. For both stays our rooms, which overlooked the (quiet) street, were spacious and clean with good bathrooms. There were very few guests at the hotel on both nights. There are some issues with the restaurant. Putting aside language difficulties, which are to be expected, the service was at times amateurish but mostly forgivable given the enthusiasm of those involved. Breakfast was generous with a combination of Jordanian and other choices. Dinner from the a la cart menu on our second night was a vast contrast in cooking quality compared to the first night when we were very disappointed with what was served. The chips that came with the hammour second time around were extraordinarily good.

We stayed at the Best Western Madaba for 3 nights, and in general we found the hotel very good. The room was spacious (we booked the larger superior room online), breakfast was good (sometimes it was a buffet, sometimes it was from the menu, depending how many guests were staying), and the staff were always friendly and willing to please.

The "Faulty Towers" comment refers to a few teething problems we had when we arrived. Firstly they had our reservation down as being for a standard room, but when I showed them the print-out of the reservation, they quickly changed it to a superior. Then when we went up to the room, we found that it was in the middle of being renovated, with all the furniture pushed to the centre of the room, and the curtains taken down. After a phone call to the front desk, we were taken to another room, which looked a lot better, though we later found that the TV remote didn't work (it was promptly replaced). After that everything worked!

This hotel is a bit further out of the centre of town than some others, but it is only about 10 - 15 minutes walk, so that is no big deal. We usually walked even though we had a car because parking was hard the closer to the centre you got. There is a laundry & dry cleaner in the same street, which was handy.

Warning: there is a lot of roadwork going on at the moment on the freeway between the airport and Amman, and we missed the Madaba turn-off. I don't think there was a sign at all (or maybe we missed it), and though we had a GPS, it could not cope and constantly told us to turn off when there wasn't an exit! As a result we ended up nearly in Amman before we could turn around and head back south to Madaba. Luckily once we did this, the GPS worked properly, and the turn off was marked on that side of the freeway.

What a great find. The service at the hotel is terrific. They helped us with cabs, places to eat, getting the the airport, etc... The people were fantastic. Our flight was cancelled and they gave us a "day rate" or half day rate and only charged us half price.

The breakfast was very good and the pool area is very nice to read a book and relax. The rooms are basic but clean and well maintained. The location is great and the staff is top notch.

Stayed in the BW at Madaba for four nights. Good central base for day trips by car to Dead Sea, Jarash, Amman etc. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area of Madaba, one that the airport cabbie struggled to find! The reception and pool areas are both tastefully decorated and well maintained. The room was well presented, clean and quiet. The swimming pool was open (November) but the weather was not hot enough to use. Lifts to all floors, good for wheelchairs/ buggies. Breakfast was well presented on Day 1 but after that the hotel was quieter and you ordered from the menu. Staff were excellent throughout.
