This is probably the place where most tourists are pointed to. And with good reason. It has a wonderful setting in an inside garden, and the food is great. All traditional Arabic classics are there, sometimes with a twist. Try the excellent local St. George wine.

I must say that this restaurant has one of the finest selection of local food in Madaba. Plus the fact that it is so beautiful and cosy, it's the perfect stop for weary feet!

It's a place for romantic dates or hearty group dinner. A must stop at Madaba!

Be prepared for a dent in your wallet though! Or ask someone to treat you! :-)

Nice Restaurant in downtown Madaba, fancy, romantic and special, but also expensive.
Very good atmosphere to spend some hours in an open patio surrounded by columns, it has also a second floor !

We have visited this restaurant numerous times and it only gets better. The ambiance is perfect and beautiful!

The background music is enjoyable and although it can be a bit loud, is festive.

The gift shop has a large variety of items along with a knowledgable and friendly staff.

We stopped on our way from the airport to the Dead Sea for a Friday lunch. It was a very hot day so the courtyard was pleasant as shade from trees and a huge humidifier. We had the hot mezze - very good cheese sambousek, and various dips - muhamrah good - and small spicy lamb sausages. Reasonably quick service before the bigger family groups came in and reasonable prices.
