We stopped on our way from the airport to the Dead Sea for a Friday lunch. It was a very hot day so the courtyard was pleasant as shade from trees and a huge humidifier. We had the hot mezze - very good cheese sambousek, and various dips - muhamrah good - and small spicy lamb sausages. Reasonably quick service before the bigger family groups came in and reasonable prices.

great location.very cozy atmosphere , the food is perfect,good service,price are reasonable , you just feel like home,perfect in winter season,we really had a good time .

I went there with wife and friend and had a great tasty meal after a whole day of fun.. We tried the traditional food and was sooo good.. Pretty nice atmosphere, yummy food and good service.. If you visit Jordan you must go to that restaurant..

We had a lovely meal at Haret Jdoudna, only slightly let down by the completely disinterested waiters. We shared a variety of dishes, including a tasty salad, some disappointing spinach stuffed mushrooms, and a delicious combo of chicken fatteh and a yoghurty mix of aubergine and minced lamb. Lovely, and only 30JD for the two of us. Really nice setting in the courtyard too. If only the vast legion of waiters could organise themselves to provide some service and perhaps even the occasional smile...

This is THE restaurant you need to go if you visit Madaba/Jordan. The dishes may look similar to other places in Middle East, but the tastes are so rich in flavors that I feel like I never had real Middle East food before. The staff members explained and recommended the dishes for us and we like them all. The restaurant is quite busy, so you might need to wait for a while to be served. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cozy and there are also outdoor seats in the yard. As for the price, it's more expensive than average in Jordan, but I think it's worth the money if you have the budget.
