The food is good and the courtyard is a really pleasant space. They serve wine. Try a bunch of the appetizers, the lentil soup and the chicken entries. The Jdoudna plate is also good.

If you are in Madaba, you must eat at this place. The restaurant is set in an old style Jordanian house. It had very rustic old world charm about it. The tables are all set in an open courtyard with glass ceiling and floor standing heaters so you really never feel the cold.
The food was nice, authentic and very tasty. For me, it was a delight to be served hot bread – the only restaurant in Jordan (outside Five star hotels) where I was served hot bread! It was too good.

Hi, this is a really nice restaurant. We were there with kids and the staff was very helpful, the food nice. They serve beer. The toilet is on the first floor a bit complicated.
But it's not where tripadvisor shows it on the map. It's actually almost across Queen Ayala hotel.

Good ambience in an enclosed courtyard. Set lunch included a particularly good dip of mashed aubergine, some very flavoursome herbed and grilled chicken that (unusually) came with chipped potatoes, followed by cold rice and coffee flavoured with cardamom. Good for some relaxation before hitting the sights of Madaba.

We enjoyed this highly recommended restaurant because, although sometimes the music was too loud. The service was perfectly correct, but we found more friendly people in other places inside Jordan.
