Definitely a budget hotel, but that certainly doesn't make it uncomfortable or grotty. We were very happy with the rooms, they are sparse but clean and the bathroom was very basic but functional. There was a bit of noise from a bar/restaurant close by on a Thursday night, but nothing too terrible. We LOVED breakfast, it is simple, but very filling and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Dear Adela,

Thank you for writing about your experience in our small budget hotel, i would like to assure you that our rooms have the following
-Clean white bed linens, and towels.
-Air condition and heating.
-Very good hot water in the showers.
- And an amazing terrace on the roof overlooking all Madaba, where you can relax on the Hammock or have a dip in the relaxing hot tub after a long hike in the ancient cites.

we hope to see you again with all you family

The main floor of the hotel is on the third floor and the breakfast is on the fifth floor, so be prepared to walk up stairs! The staff were really friendly and helpful - made us feel right at home.
It is on a very quiet street at night, even though it is very centrally located, but there is still a little street noise. I guess on Thursday nights, the restaurant next door has live music so that night might be noisier.
We had trouble locating the hotel and few locals even knew where/what St. George's Church was so even tho it was across the street from a major landmark, it was a challenge to find. You really need GPS because there are no street signs!
There were some

This is a budget hotel but still amazingly good value for money. There are no frills here - no bedside lights, basic furniture, no toiletries but for the price you pay, it's great.

The location can't be beat - as other reviewers have stated, and although the breakfast is basic, its certainly sufficient. There is no lift in the building so if you have difficulty with stairs, this might not be the place for you.

We had the double with the private bathroom and one thing that would be an improvement would be to have a shower curtain that actually reaches the floor…. The bathroom gets very wet during a shower. Also, the wife was very patchy.

But these minor complaints aside, save yourself some money and stay here!

Firstly let me say what a great Town Madaba is. The MoabLand Hotel could not be in a better spot, right opposite the St. George's Church and a stone's thrown away to all the other attractions here in Madaba. When we were there, they were busy, putting a hot tub and a jacuzzi on the roof, which already has sun beds and a nice lounge for having breakfast. The staff are very friendly and very helpful...cannot do enough for you.....There is coffee and tea always available and Ana provides a typical Jordanian breakfast savoury and sweet...for the price we paid it was amazing. I would recommend if you were comming to Jordan to stay in Madaba and go to Amman for the day rather than the other way around...very chilled out place. The first two nights with ate in the Queen Ayatola Cafe which is just around the corner to the left...very tasty food and very reasonable.
