We only stayed here one night before flying out the next day but we should have stayed longer and used this as a base of operations. Most of the tourist sites are within a day's drive and Madaba has much better selection of food and drinks. The hotel was lovely and clean, with friendly staff that spoke excellent English (this became an amazing bonus after two weeks in Jordan). The breakfast was good, and the wifi was free. Recommend this place alot.

Great hotel for arrival in Jordan at Queen Alia Airport about 30 mins drive rather than heading into Amman especially if heading south to Wadi Rum, Petra, Aqaba etc
Very clean rooms, great little mgt team running it, felt very safe.
Great Location near main street and can easily go to churches and see the famous mosaic map.
Great local bakery right opposite the hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights on arrival to Jordan to avoid the city of Amman. Also on our last night before leaving. It about 20/25 mins drive from the airport, in the town on Madaba, so easy to walk to all the churches, we spent another day relaxing at the dead sea, the other day we drove the ring road around Amman to Jerish. The rooms were lovely and clean, the breakfast was nice. Great Hotel for the price

Stayed here for first two nights in Jordan and then the last two nights. Very clean, comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of shopping, great restaurants, a bar, grocery stores and late night snacks. Safe neighborhood...I am female and I walked around by myself with no problems. We were a group of four and walked around late at night again with no issues. The staff at the hotel is incredibly helpful and professional. Their english is perfect and they were happy to answer any questions we had. They even let us use the computer in their office to change a hotel reservation. There is 24 hour desk coverage and someone sitting outside the hotel to help with taxis or directions. The breakfast is very tasty and filling and the mini bar prices are very reasonable, which we only discovered after traveling around Jordan for a week. I think each room has a balcony which is nice when you want to listen to the sounds of the city...calls to prayer, cats yowling, kids coming home from school...etc. Bathrooms are new and very clean, beds are comfortable, wake up calls were never missed. Our wonderful guide, Mohammad "Zeek" Khdeer, picked us up every morning and drove us to all the sights which were easily reached from our location in Madaba. Airport is about 20 minutes away. Great hotel-great location-highly recommended.

This is a wonderful hotel, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, kit-kats in the mini bar, excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly family who run it, ample parking, close to town centre and mosaics. What more could you ask for 55JD a night?

What a difference family-ownership/engagement makes! This place is certainly nothing special, so cannot get my five stars, but it still has all the things that matter - at least to us. Perfect location, both within the town for the antiquities; and in Jordan - either to avoid Amman for North Jordan/Dead Sea, or to be handy for the airport. Friendly, knowledgeable, committed staff. Plain, clean, quiet rooms. Cheap minibar. Free wireless. Silly room-rate. What more can you ask? (Well maybe fruit and better juice at breakfast!)
.
And don't underestimate Madaba. It's not just A-One-Mosaic-City! Check out the mosaics in the other churches and the arch park. Go up the tower and explore the crypt at the John the Baptist church. Walk around and enjoy some nicely restored Ottoman houses. Eat like everyone else does, at Haret Jdoudna.

Our travel group chanced on this wonderful hotel in the heart of Madaba. New, clean, modern, GREAT beds and delicious breakfast. A real bargain for the price and so close to the mosaic treasures! A wonderful bakery directly across the street, excellent restaurants only a short walk away - the only thing missing was a refreshing pool. The staff guided us to some of the best shopping in the city including where to buy some of the best mosaics. You won't be sorry with this one!
