On our last night in Amman we were torn between here and another restaurant which has received excellent reviews on Tripadvisor.
We forgot what day it was and arrived about 7 o'clock on a Thursday evening (Start of Arabic weekend) to which we were told that they were fully booked but would try an accommodate us. To our delight they fitted us in.
The staff were all very pleasant, polite and had good service skills. We had a young guy serving us, and he was very friendly, never overstepped the mark but always appeared at the right time to fill our glasses or take our plates.
We shared a starter of carpaccio with balsamic and fig which was delicious. For mains we ordered the rack of lamb served with a dark sauce and vegetables and also the beef with creamy pesto and pasta. Both were good portions, well cooked and of excellent quality.
We topped off the meal by both ordering dessert, creme brulee and chocolate soufle. Very large portions, but so tasty none was left.
I would highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic or group meal. It is in a lovely old building with a cosy ambiance inside.
Would definitely return next time I am in Amman.
