The desert castle circuit is an amazing tour, if long in the heat, so take an air condition ride. well preserved sites with great detail

“Worth seeing”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

In the middle of the dessert you find a comparatively well-preserved dessert castle. We found the construction amazing and were surprised about the difference in temperature of outside and inside. They were about to open up a small new visitor center with toilets and you could have a tea or a coffee with the local bedouins. We enjoyed having a chat with the locals.

“One of the beautiful Umayyad castles”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

This castle is one of the famous Desert Castles. It's easy to reach via Highway 40 and has small resthouse (bedouin tent actually) at the entrance where you can seat and relax if this castle is the last one for your day tour for Desert Castles. The castle itself is in good condition and you can simply imagine yourself in the 8th century when it was built.

“In the middle of nowhere!”
Reviewed March 18, 2012

A splendid castle, seemingly rising out of nowhere beside the road. No UK Health and Safety, so be careful when going to the upper floors!
