Agree with the T/A reviews- this hotel ticks the boxes for amenities, service, cleanliness... But its not a typical 5 Star nor of the same standard as other Kempinski hotels (for example Cairo), so I was disappointed..
I was expecting some true 5 star indulgence and luxury (such as pillow menus, large size bathrooms, turn down service, Nespresso machines!). ...
They dont have a kettle in the room, but did bring up one when requested. I also complained to management about a poor cleaning incident and I was offered compensation which was a decent response.
Concierge is very helpful, though if you want to save money on taxis to go to downtown etc, you are better of walking down the road from the hotel to catch a metered taxi for 2JD, vs from the hotel 7JD. 2-3 trips a day over3-4 days, and this can be huge saving ;)
Breakfast is pretty good- arabic options, hot and cold options, fresh eggs and pancakes. But the staff, one gentlemen in particular was rude, kept rushing us and made it seem like every cup of coffee we wanted was the biggest job in the world.
Anyway, I hope our collective feedback is taken into account to just sharpen the edges a bit to become a fabulous hotelMore
