“Impressive place to discover life in Jordan”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

This cafe is part of the Amman Pasha which i was staying at in downtown right across the road from the roman theater.
Delightful food & unique chicha.
At night, they show us a marvelous traditional Jordanian way "Dabka" with a beautiful ambiance and all the staff members there greeted my companions and me with smiles as warm as the Pizza they serve it.
I would thoroughly recommend Pizza Roma Cafe with a sweet tooth.
I know I'll certainly be returning soon.

“Fun, friendly and tasty”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

We stayed at the Amman Pasha right next door, so ate here a couple of dinners and breakfasts.
Breakfast was tea, coffee, juice, breads and spreads, and also Jordanian staples like labneh, olives, cucumber and tomato, boiled eggs and the most delicious falafels I've ever had.
For dinner/lunch dishes, there is the choice of 'western' food like hot dogs, steaks, chips, etc, pizzas, or traditional Jordanian stuff like kofta, hummus, etc. Our group only really tried the traditional menu, but everything we got was generously sized, very flavoursome and cheap.
Staff were friendly and engaging, making cheeky comments and up for a laugh. Attentive service, clean area and cutlery/crockery.
Every night there is a sing-a-long and some dancing instigated by the staff, who are keen to engage patrons but were not too pushy. Great fun.

“Pizza Arabic food and More”

At this cafe you can find cool music, lively friendly atmosphere, beautiful ambiance ,good food, and drink like lemon and mint with crushed ice, best coffee in town, and shisha. In the evening best place to have fun join the staff sing and dance local songs.
No where else you can find all these things .The nearest place is in Jabel amman Rainbow street where you expect to pay more than double for same food and drink.
they serve local beer and wine really good quality.
This becomes our hang out in Amman

“Lively spot for a refreshing beer”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

We had read about the hotel (Amman Pasha) but whilst looking for somewhere to have a beer we chanced upon it's café the Pizza Roma and noticed people through the window drinking beer. I should point out that a previous reviewer mistakenly reported that the beer is non-alcoholic. That isn't the case in fact they serve several beers (and wine) including Jordanian brands Philadelphia and Petra a whopping 10% strength !!! On our first visit there was some lively dancing and one of the waiters ability to bend backwards to a fully horizontal position whilst still dancing were mind boggling. We ate on a couple of occasions and the food was good. One of the main reasons to recommend the Pizza Roma is the friendly staff who help to create a great atmosphere and led to us visiting several times. The service could be a little slow at times but I think that is more of a cultural thing as we experienced the same in many places whilst in Jordan. The café is open to midnight each night

“Best Food and Best Entertainment”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

The Pizza Roma Cafe is a little bit hidden next to the Amman Pasha Hotel. But if you are in Downtown and you are close to Roman Ampihitheatre pay this place a visit, you won't be disappointed.
The Cafe which has air conditioner and free WiFi, offers very delicious traditional Jordanian food but as well pizza, pasta and sandwiches. During the day, the Cafe is a nice calm place to relax, get some food before you go out to discover more of Amman or smoke a shisha. In the evening and at night, the staff of the restaurant will show you the traditional Jordanian dance Dabka while you enjoy your delicious food, a beer, tea or shisha.
The design of the restaurant is very beautiful and unique. But the beauty of this place originates from the very welcoming and warm atmosphere created by the staff. Shadi, Ahmed and Leila will look out for your well-being, serve your food with an astonishing smile and will introduce you together with the staff of the hotel to some local culture. Raymond, the owner of the hotel and restaurant, and his beautiful wife, will welcome you kindhearted, and make sure, you have everything you need. You only have to sit down, enjoy the food of the chef Muhammad and relax.

In July I could celebrate my wedding at the restaurant. Everyone contributed to the celebration, to make it an unique and amazing event. My family and the family of my husband had an amazing time at the restaurant. The staff organised everything for us, so that we didn't have to take care of it ourselves. We danced and sang through the evening. I am still very thankful for their help and the beautiful wedding their made possible for us.
