I was lucky enough to go back to Amman and eat Falafel at Abu Jbara. We arrived at 2:40 a.m. and were at Abu Jbara by 4:00 a.m. Again, it was the best falafel sandwich I've ever had, even better than the first time. The fateh humous is amazing - so rich and tasty. I am not sure why people think it's expensive, but compared to the U.S., it is dirt cheap. Their take-out is even cheaper. Service is great and the restaurant is always clean. I can't wait for my next visit.

If you want to enjoy tasty and clean traditional food in Amman , Abu Jbara is the place to go.
The restaurant in Medinneh Munawareh St. has very nice seating and also take away option.
It may be a bit more expensive than other places but the food is excellent and clean.
They make their own bread and the service is very good and efficient.
You can find during the summer people having breakfast at Abu Jbara as early as 6.30 in the morning;the restaurant is open 24 hours.
A place not to miss when you visit Amman!

it's good to give it a try with family or friends, it's clean and have delicious blend of Arabian dishes such as falafil, hommus, musabbaha, fatta, and fool with a glass of tea with mint. But you will be shocked at the end with a very expensive bill. We were 4 persons and ordered normal dishes and payed more than 20 JD (28 USD) just for having falafil and hommus stuff!!
