This really shows what the life was like in Jordan many years ago. There are many displays of old Bedouin life and a lot of models of old clothing. What I really liked were the exhibits of the mosaic's in one area and the old embroidered women's wear!!

The Jordan Museum of Popular Tradition was included in the price of the ticket to the Roman Amphitheatre. It is small but someone has taken care to display e.g. articles of traditional dress very effectively.

You should definitely take a look while seeing the Roman Theater. A nice man took us around and spoke about the artifacts. One of the rooms of the museum used to keep the lions to be released into the theater.

Very interesting displays, but dark inside and because of the stuffed mannequins - I would not take children under 10 years old, or just make sure they were okay.

It was interesting to see this museum. There were displays of mosaics from around the country, clothing from different eras and regions, and jewelry also. Worth the visit.
