We stayed here for about 6 days in August/September with our 2 year old daughter. The place was very quiet, because of the low season, which clearly impacted positively on our stay. There were never waiting lines anywhere, in the restaurants we were always looked after quickly and professionally and the place was comfortable, airy and quiet. Check in and check out were easy. The room was very clean and nothing was missing. We spent a lot of time by the outdoor pool and were often the only ones using it. I'd expect the pool area would get quite busy in peak season though, given the area is not too big. I should also point out that the location of the pool meant that the sun was often hidden behind the main building. The sun was shining directly on the pool area only between the times of around 10 am to 1 pm or so. Odd design! The food was quite good in all restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed the terrace bar in the evening - it's a nice place to relax with a few drinks and snacks (and shisha if you like!). Breakfast was excellent, with a very wide choice of good food. People were always helpful and extremely kind and patient with our little girl. Having said that, I did notice on a couple of occasions a waiter or two whinging in the background as my daughter made a mess, but then putting on a smile in front of us (whinging is fine, but please do it out of sight!). However, those were isolated incidents! The hotel staff, and the Jordanians in general, were fantastic people: extremely warm and friendly, they made us feel very welcome and were always sweet to our little girl. Finally, security in the hotel was good and the area was very clean. We did attempt a walk to Rainbow street (a street that I highly recommend by the way, for good restaurants and bars), but it was extremely difficult with the baby stroller due to gaps in the road and footpath sections that are short and very high. It took us a very long and uncomfortable time to get to our destination on foot with the pram. I would recommend a cab to any destination (there are mainly three types of cars: cheap taxis that will cost you only a couple of dollars to anywhere, higher-quality cabs with bigger cars that will cost you up to 10 or so dollars to most local destinations, and the hotel or Hertz cars, which will cost you more). Final piece of advice for people travelling with young kids: if you book a car/driver with Hertz in the lobby, inquire very carefully about what kind of baby seat they'll provide, as this is rather hit or miss here. Have a great time in Amman. It's a fantastic place!

The Hyatt is by far the best hotel in Amman. Anytime I have business guests, I reserve for them there and they are all very pleased with there stay. Overall, a well run, great hotel in Amman.

I Stayed in this Hotel near the centre of Amman for 4 nights . It has a very modern interior with a relaxing feel once past the security barriers that are a feature of all Hotels in this region.
It as a nice outdoor pool area and bar area where you can enjoy the nice days that Amman has to offer and a large lobby area with plenty of places to sit.
Rooms are comfortable without being overly luxurious.
Food and beverage outlets were numerous but I did not use them although I did use Room service on a number of occassions and found it to be satisfactory.
OVerall the Hotel is a nice place to stay in Amman, Internet is very expensive.

The hotel was beautiful and was greeted well at the check in. On arrival in the room a camel was offered as a sovenier. The room were spacious and clean. The breakfast offered had variety of food and was very good. The hotel had a well equiped gym and a nice pool along with a business centre. The hotel has a Bar named JJ and it was nice to watch the world cup semi finals & finals in JJ's. The english channel for world cup matches was not available in the room and therefore to watch all the matches had to go to the Bar. In the night there was too much noise from the banquet which was hindering my sleep.

The hotel was a very nice surprise, much better than other hotels of the same chain in other countries. Jordan in general is a very good service location, and this hotel was a perfect illustration of that. The rooms are a little more fresh than those at the Four Seasons, re-decorated a while ago now. The restaurants offered a good choice, and the location was perfect for down-town appointments. The hotel was very calm, relaxing and the perfect business destination.
