Nice staff, great breakfast, huge room, we were here for a two days international meeting, this is a convenient place, I can recommend it, Rainbow street not far away for the tourist appetite for small restaurants and bars

This is a really beautiful, nicely maintained hotel. The staff is exceptional at cleaning and stocking the room. The AC is adjustable and quiet. (in many hotels in the region the vents are positioned to free you out or not provide air at all) There are five restaurants and a bar. An indoor and outdoor pool and a great selection of exercise equipment.

The downside begins with the strange layout of the facility. All elevators in the main part of the building bring you to just above or just below the lobby. Carrying heavy suitcases (even on wheels) is impossible. Also the health club and pools are in another wing of the hotel. If you want to go down in your exercise clothes you have to walk through the main lobby. I would love to meet the architect to see what in the world he or she was thinking of. Second, the prices even for the smallest items can reach the outrageous. I know hotels are always more expensive, but when you can buy a Coke just outside the hotel for less than a Euro and pay almost 6 Euros for a Coke at the bar you really feel like you are getting ripped off. If you are on an expense account it would make no difference but for consultants it can be an issue.

Working in the desert all day. Come back to recharge starting with a cup of coffee with Ibrahim in the foyer. Mr Majed organizes all of my equipment to be carried back to my room. No fuss, no problem (maafi mushkila).
A great night's sleep then a fabulous breakfast with just the best service from the breakfast staff. Then, with Majed's help, off to work in the desert again.
I could not ask for a more warm and friendly place to stay.
This hotel provided an oasis of calm. Thank you to all the staff, but especially Ibrahim, Majed and the breakfast team for the warmest and friendliest service.

Room Tip: Non smoking here was truly non smoking. Room was larger than any I have experienced.

Overall, I had a really good stay at the hotel. I was there for the last week for a conference. Service was great, the hosts had a good attitude and the rooms for me, where not that bad.

However the only problem I had was having staff just walk into my room assuming that I must be out. This happened twice, once at about 8 in the morning, the other a bit later, just before noon. How this happened is strange. You cannot walk into a guests room while they are inside.

That would be my only complaint and an internet that whenever you move, wireless disconnects.

Your service was great but you broke the first rule, privacy.

I hope you can sort this out but a excellent hotel

This is one of those large hotels with enormous public areas and multiple restaurants.

It was part of the holiday package for so I can't comment on the prices. Although the bar prices seemed to be in line with much of the rest of Jordan (10.500JOD for 500ml of draught beer....plus tax....plus service). Cocktails and wine were better value (if not as refreshing :) )

We ate in the Lebanese restaurant both evenings in a group of 10. The mezze dishes were of good quality but the service was a little reluctant, which was surprising given how quiet it was. Service elsewhere in the hotel was friendly, efficient and prompt

The breakfast had an excellent range, including a good set of local breakfast choices, together with the ubiquitous omelettes, pastries, cheese and bread. They hadn't cracked porridge when I was there but I may not have understood the system.

The rooms were a good size with big bathrooms and large very comfortable beds.

Room Tip: There have been some comments about avoiding rooms next to the main road. I had two different rooms...

The service in the Le Meridien in Amman is always nice and friendly. The hotel offers a variety of fresh cooked international and Arabic food in different restaurants.
The breakfast buffet has a large selection of breakfast dishes from around the world including freshly baked bread.
I always enjoy my stay here and will prefer the Le Meridien to other hotels in Amman.
