Stayed two nights at end of group package tour. Comfortable room, though softer armchairs would have been good for relaxing reading. Very comfortable bed & bedding. Bathroom compact but well-appointed.
Outdoor pool closed for season; indoor pool good and ladies spa area splendid (jacuzzi, sauna, steamroom, jetshower - had it all to myself both visits). Pity it's a slippery, badly-lit, outdoor walk (down steps, across courtyard, up steps) to get to pool and spa area.
Hotel information doesn't tell you where anything is - top flooor restaurant, mezzanine floor for pool, etc. Also no mention of the free wi-fi (not under "I" for internet or "W" for wifi in the A-Z listing): it works well when you find it (faster connection available for payment). And for all the facilities, nowhere to buy stamps at 9.10 in morning on our departure (shop allegedly open 9am). (Postcards had to be sent from UK!)
Breakfast buffet the best of our trip, splendid variety for all tastes. Pity the evening buffet meal was not on offer either night (because weekend offseason?). You can apparently eat from any menu in any venue (or perhaps only because it was so quiet?), so after one meal in the top-floor Arabic restaurant where we were almost the only diners (watching the night-time view go in and out of the clouds), we ate from its menu in Jasmine Lounge the 2nd night and enjoyed watching the world go by including an incoming wedding party.
Nowhere to walk to, and nowhere near the historic/interesting areas of town - but our tour company presumably couldn't find appropriate standard of accommodation in a better location. Location probably ideal for business visitors, less so for interested tourists.
