We spent one night at the Rest Inn in Amman before travelling onto the Dead Sea. Our apartment had two bedrooms. There was plaster and paint coming off the walls, and there was a strong smell of air freshener which must have been hiding something we couldn't detect. The cleaner knocked on the door to give us a full can of spray without any explanation - fortunately, we never found out what it was masking.
It was generally a clean apartment with a balcony and comfortable enough living room with television. The bathroom had a shower and was clean, BUT THERE WERE NO TOWELS ANYWHERE - the cleaners couldn't even help us! Unfortunately, the door handle also came away from the front door in the morning. A basic Middle-Eastern breakfast is included - coffee, a bag of flat bread, hard-boiled eggs, Foul (a bean porridge) hummus and "Laughing Cow" cheese triangles.
The apartment with two bedrooms cost 100 JD for the night. This place needs some repairs and some towels!
