I love this kind of places. It is a traditional cheap restaurant, full of locals, pretty straightforward: small menu, all tasty.

I had "Mensaf" just because it was claimed as "national dish" in the many. It was nice, but my wife's chiken was even better.

Side dishes like Hommos and Muttabel were very tasty too. I think we paid something like 7 JOD (=10 USD) which I consider quite fair.

My Jordanian friend took us there as i told her that I wanted to try the mansaf. It couldn't have been a better place to do so! It was a traditional local joint so I am glad we had my friend with us. We also ordered some salad and hummus to go with our meal. It was a perfect first experience with Jordanian cuisine!

The best mansaf in town, Al-Quds Res, located downtown, with very reasonable prices and good food, the chicken, the mansaf, also the kunafa (Arabic sweet)is always good, everytime, when i find myself with afree time and hungry, the Mansaf is my best choice

Its the best restaurant to eat a good Mansaf
Mansaf is the traditional meal of Jordan made out of yogurt with rise plus meat the easy way to find the restaurant is to get direction to the old post office at the city center everyone know where it's then you will be facing the restaurant at the other side of the street it's worth it to try

In some of the travel guides they say there is no english menu, but by the time we went they had a small paper with the menu in English.
Locals recommend this place for the mansaf, and this is what we wanted to eat, the local dish: Mansaf. Here you can choose between lamb or chicken, they serve it on rice, with the yoghurt sauce in another plate (they don't make your meat swim in the sauce, like they do in other restaurants). We payed 18.50 jordan dinar for three persons-mansaf and drinks. Locals recommend this place for the mansaf, we had the adress but we almost missed it, from outside it's like a place where they only sell sweets.
If you want to taste the real traditional Jordan dish, you should come here!
