The Royal Automobile Museum is in a hillside park on the west side of Amman. A trip through the museum is a short journey through modern Jordanian history since most of the cars and motorcycles themselves were owned by one of the kings. Each is displayed with photographs and, for some of the later models, video clips, of the royals in the car. The narrative on the audio guides gives details of the various models as well as their relevance to the royal history.
