“Famous falafel in the heart of Amman”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Great value falafel, hummous, foul and more in the heart of Amman. Despite being in every guide book, this is still a very local place. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. And the food is fantastic!

“Essential part of the Amman experience”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

We ate here on our first night having seen it listed in our guide book. It was extremely busy with locals queuing for a table. There are no frills here the tables and chairs being cheap plastic garden furniture but it all adds to the atmosphere. It is all very hectic with a number of servers rushing around delivering food to tables. There didn't appear to be any menu as such rather everyone seemed to eating a set meal of fellafel, humus etc. etc. which was very pleasant. The servers were wearing a uniform complete with baseball cap which looked more suited to a petrol pump attendant and the hygiene did look a bit questionable. You will not be popular if you take too long over your food as was the case with us where a large Jordanian family were anxiously stood next to us waiting for us to vacate. Well worth a visit

“It might be the best but,...”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

It might be the best Hommuos and Falafel in town ,a real authentic flavor of Amman History, although its open 24/7 , still go in the day time - preferably in the morning - and avoid the shared and "open for everyone" Hot sauce and salt, at the end its a communal restaurant.

“A real taste of Jordan”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

Not much more to say than other reviews, but I totally agree with all (the favourable ones). We sat down and food apeared as if by magic! We only wanted a snack but got masses - very delicious, and cheap!
