Description: Wild Jordan Cafe is located in the Wild Jordan Center, which has a magnificent location overlooking the old city of Amman, the Citadel and the huge Jordanian flag. The center is a work engine run by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature, aiming to generate an income for the rural communities of the 7 reserves in Jordan; Dana, Wadi Rum, Shaumar, Al Azraq, Ajloun, Yarmouk and Wadi Mujib. Being part of the nature center, The Cafe, aims to support locals from the reserves, in order to help sustain an income for them and their families. The outlet offers a healthy low fat cuisine set in outstanding surroundings.

normally quiet when i've been during the day or evening time, but the food tastes good, standard portions, with one of the best views in amman from the balcony, especially once it gets dark

The place is really unique. The interiors are mainly constructed from recycled material .. i think their reception is made out of aluminum cans! you could enjoy a healthy meal, and relax at the view of the old Amman! if you haven't been there, you should!

We have been to Wild Jordan several times to have a good lunch, to meet with friends and colleagues. The entire building is well worth visiting. There is a beautiful gift shop on the ground floor, cool places to sit and relax even before we get to the restaurant. The view from the restaurant is lovely. One can see the entire downtown area. The food is good and wholesome, perhaps not outstanding, but very healthy. We have been able to sit there for hours and in one instance had a business meeting there for the entire afternoon. Service was gracious and friendly. Also English was well understood.

It doesn't look much from the street, especially if you come down the alley from Rainbow Street (broken glass, bins, stray cats) but the shop is great for gifts for family & friends and very reasonably priced. The food is not very Jordanian but the "frozen lemonade" or lemon juice & mint is incredibly refreshing and the best we have had so far as it is freshly made and not from concentrate. Great view of the city and the biggest flagpole I have ever seen!

This is one of my favorite places to eat at , especially when non of our group is a smoker.
the place over looks parts of the old city and ruins.

We had 2 salads , 4 smoothies, 2 main courses , 2 sweets and 2 Coffees and the bill totaled JD85.000 ($125.00).

The food was good and nicely presented.,but one of the waiters had no clue about the menu and smelled badly which put us off while the other one was well informed and friendly.

The menu is a healthy one and caters for a wide variety of tastes.

I recommend this place to all new visitors to Amman.
