“A good option, at reasonable price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2009

THis place is close to the hotel I usually go, so I visit it from time to time. The food is OK, and the price is lower than many decent restaurantes in the area. Lots of mediterranean seafood. Not crazy about it though.
Sometimes it can be packed, so consider booking in advance.

“First Class”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2009

Right on the Alma beach in the Charles Clore Park area of south Tel Aviv. The appetisers consisting of mezze plates are not to be missed. The seafood mains are mouth watering. This is one of Tel Aviv's best eating experiences.

“Top spot on the sea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2009

This place is great in every way. On the water, great service, great food, great hours and didn't have to mortgage the house to eat here.
Consider sharing because the dishes are very very big. Everything here is wonderful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

“location not worth the horrid service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2009

The location is superb. I have been twice in the past 10 days. The first time i attributed the bad service to general bad day, but yesterday when i met with a friend the service was below par. Any request had to be repeated 2-3 times. Waited to be served 40 minutes. The hostess was extremly rude. I asked for water with ice. The water was brought warm. No Ice. Asked for one menu in English, was met with a raised eyebrow and: " but you are Israeli...". Asked for ashtray, given after 15 minutes. Asked for lemon for the fish...had to ask 3 times, finally, i got up and walked to the waitress and asked politely for lemon, using my "please" and "may i". She turned on me and said: " Lama at Mitazbennet?" (Why are you so mad?) . Asked for more bread 3 times. Asked for olive oil 2 times. No one came around to ask if everything was ok. No one refilled our water. We did not see our waitress twice. The wait staff all had an attitude, did not smile, did not give a damn. Go across the street to restaurant "Raphael" in hotel Dan. Food is about the same price but much more elegant and the wait staff is superb. Well worth the money.

“Nice place on the beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2009

I ordered the shrimp and personally I thought they were slightly undercooked. However the sauce they were in was great. I also ordered a carafe of wine and it was very good. They brought the main course to me before I was finished with my starter and that is why I downgraded the service rating to a 3. Besides that service was pretty good. Very nice atmosphere. I would still go back!
