“Very good indeed .exceptional value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

I eat at this popular Tel Aviv restaurant for the first time - business lunch for three.( one vegetarian ) Table was booked in advance with a request for seating on lower level . The reception was friendly, the table ready and with outstanding views across the water as expected
Serving staff extremely friendly , responsive and well informed .Two courses for each person were served promptly
No wine but Italian mineral water
.Starters were fresh and well presented , the mains delicious -my crispy skinned salmon with sides - was as good as I have had anywhere in the world . Everyone was happy with the food , the service and the ambiance .We thought the menu varied and imaginative and would certainly hope to return
The total cost including tip was under USD $110 - amazing value.

“yummy!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2013

Delicious food and service. I recommend the veal cannelloni with mushroom, that was excellent!
I was with a group of 11 people, some had more lucky them others with their meals. I was pretty luck, loved entrance, main course and dessert. Some not so much, that is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars (I tried most of the meals ordered). Sadly I could not try the gnocchi chestnuts that I heard so much about it. The place looked amazing and the service was great compared with Israeli standards.

“A must”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

Tel Aviv offers a wide variety of good and excellent restaurants , and for no doubt the ‘Herbert Samuel’ is one of the leading . It is one of the restaurant I’m happy to return, either for a romantic dinner or with a joyful company.
The Cuisine is an up-to-date Israeli –Mediterranean, with a menu holding a very good selection of fish, meat and sea-food all in a very high quality and elegant presentation. The wine list lists a good range of word-wide wines, and the cocktails are best of the kind. Add to all of that a professional and welcoming stuff and you’ll get a winning place.
If you are visiting Tel-Aviv , it worth the effort to book a place.

“One of nicests restaurants in Tel Aviv”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

One of nicests restaurants in Tel Aviv with any kind of doubt! Very creative yet original cuisine you feel the signature of the Chef Roshfeld in every dish. From the appetizers ( don't forget to try the famous tomato salad ) to the main courses ( fish, sea food or meat ) perfectly done and the desserts ( churros with hot chocolate chaser & vanilla ice cream or the famous "Bait shel Fistuk") Very wide selection of international and israeli wines.Superb service and beautiful place. Don't forget to make a reservation in order to make sure there is space since it's one of the most requested ones. Not cheap but always nice place to treat yourself with your partner and/or friends!
