Hi,

After a short trip to Berlin, eating at a log of Asian restaurants, I had a craving for Japanese food.

The dishes were excellent, agadadhi tofu is very tasty, sushi dishes are unique, especially the special ones on the menu.

Seafood noodles is very good, and escarole salat as well.

The waiter was very friendly and helped us choose the best dishes, the atmosphere is very nice

Highly recommended, worth every cent.

We visited Onami on a hot summer Thursday night. Having visited Onami for the last time several years ago and before Japanese food became abundant in Israel, I was to see what one of Israel's most proclaimed Japanese restaurants had to offer.

We ordered the Beef tartar, two Yakitori skewers (Salmon and chicken), two Sushi rolls and two Tamakis (cones).

The meat dishes were small, though not tiny. The Yakitors were quite tasty, but the 15$ beef tartar was tasteless (though nice to look at). As for the Sushi, you could feel that it was composed of quality ingredients. It was tasty but not extraordinarily so, and you can find in Tel Aviv both tastier Sushi at similar prices (e.g. Moon) or similar Sushi in a lower price class.

The service was rather slow, although the waiters was polite. I liked the place's decor (it is modern, rather than Japanese) and atmosphere, but the music was a little too noisy for my taste and made conversation difficult.

The Japanese food is authentic and good - especially the original rolls and cones.
Service is professional. I found the music to be a little loud and not appropriate for the atmosphere. generally recommended.

We were a table of three there today, and from the moment we arrived I could tell something was wrong because quite some time went by before we were even greeted by a waitress at our table.
Ordering was a pleasant experience, but everything went down hill from there. The appetizers took a long time to come out.
Two of us received a poor tasting main course, something with rice and steak, that was bland and over priced. The third meal never arrived!
There was no manager walking around to even notice that something is wrong at one of the tables, and the waitresses didn't seem to care that one person was watching two others eat.
Quite disappointed and all blame in my opinion is on the management. THEY STINK!
