I used to like this place. Granted, the food is very good. However, it is absurdly overpriced for very small portions. Staff is indifferent.. sometimes rude. service slow. And lacks any flexibility. I won't be returning any time soon until they change management.

This has got to be the worst Indian restaurant,i have had the misfortune to eat at.There is no ambience and below par food at astronomical prices, served at a ridiculously slow rate.I have been to many Indian restaurants in many cities avcross the world, so be assured i know what i'm talking about.Rather have a cheap felafel, at any of the stalls around the corner.

there aren't many options if you have a craving for indian food in tel-aviv, maybe 5 restaurants in total, so we went for a business lunch there which costs ILS 59, but it's misleading: there were 6 of us and we all thought that drinks were included in the price, but they weren't, so add to that ILS 6 (not including the tip).
the service was all over the place. maybe if you're missing a trip you had to india this vibe is similar... but here it was just a little bit anoying, having to ask for things several times...
for ILS 59 you get bread and dips, salad, soup, rice, a main of your choice (pretty tiny) and a sorbet scoop. plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, i tasted almost what everyone had, and nothing was really too good...
the only plus side is that they refill the bread and rice, so we were full but unsatisfied as the food was quite bland.

Absolutely a perfect Indian eating place.
Food was very tasty- service perfect
Prices affordable
Take an advice - firstly visit the art museum in the neighbourhod , walk about 300 yards and voila the restaurant is on your left hand

Every time I want to eat high quality and good Indian food, Indira is the place. The restaurant space is quite small, and the service is kind and personal. although not many people can fit inside the small place, there are always enough waiters to help you with anything you need. What I really like about the restaurant is the variety of Indian food they make. They have food from all over India (north and south) and a few excellent over night special cooked dishes, and I would recommend you to try the Lamb, I never got disappointed from it. My favorite dish is the Indira special with the Cashew gravy, I always make sure that someone in the table orders it, so I could have some! In addition they are baking an amazing garlic Nan along with tasty traditional Indian Tamar Hindi dip. Also the restaurant has a big vegetarian menu and good Indian desserts such Gulab Gamoon.
