I love Ashkara, acting in the same spot under th same management for more than 30 years.
I Have been eating there humus since the early 90's and it always tastes the same.
Always fresh, the humus is on the heavy side. Fresh pitta bread and really hot 'red sauce', sliced onion and pickles are served in the side.
The place serves also falafel and soups in winter time, but I go for my humus foul dish, Which is one of the best meals for 35 NIS in Tel Aviv.
Friendly and funny stuff members.
I enter Ashcara and immediately feel at home.
