Minzar is just like this pretty models that looks amazing even while wearing a garbage bag. It has no sign, it's not fancy looking and the last time the place was renovated was probably before I was born. But, the atmosphere and the people in it make it the best place to pass time and meet new friends that are down to earth and do not own a solid opinion on Miley Cyrus's new single. Don't be confused by the looks of the place as the food looks AND TASTES like it was made in a chef restaurant.

Cool bohemian vibe located next to Carmel Shuk by Allenby. Nice outdoor area for an ice cold one in the sun. Chopped liver reminiscent of my grandmother (crispy chicken skin included) Great hummus, banger's and mash and even a late night cheeky bacon and eggs. Everything i have tried at this spot has been really good. Then night falls. The eclectic mix of reggae, rock, drum and bass starts, the outside area is cleared and locals drink good beer and bourbon untill the sun comes up. As with any late night spot its full of lunatics ... but i like that. If your looking for somewhere to eat and drink late night .. this is the spot!

Great place to hang out and chat. Rather nondescript. Reasonably priced, good food. Friendly staff. And open 24/7.

The minzar is a great bar, the beer is always fresh and cold, the food is good, great veal sausage.

It is open 24-7 and you will always feel welcome

The prices are more than reasonable so you can drink and drink and drink

It's a simple, not trendy place

Good beers and that's it. Very limited selection of food on the menu. Ordered pasta plate and hot corned beef. The pasta consisted of four lonely samples, lost on a large plate. The corned beef was dried out (overcooked?) and almost too tough to chew. Not going back there again.
