Description: Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city, strategically placed between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Rothschild Boulevard. It's considered aninstitution by Tel Avivians, and our regular customers are business and media people, artists and in fact anyone who appreciates a terrific atmosphere and good food.Cafe Noir extends over two levels, offering a choiceof intimate sitting areas and spacious seating that's equally suitable for businessmeetings or family celebration. The décor comprises dark wood furniture in classicstyle, a spacious and inviting bar, with oil paintings on the walls and art objects arranged on surrounding shelves. Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.

“Utterly Dependable”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

A classic, well-run bistro, with very good if not exciting food, attentive service, warm, traditional decor, and welcoming ambiance. Legendary Schnitzels, good steaks and lighter, more Mediterranean dishes, as well as a well-appointed bar. A bit noisy, like everywhere these days, but all-in-all a very pleasant, satisfactory dining experience.

“Excelent Restaurant and service”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is one of the best Coffee/Restaurant in Israel.
They have a sensational Argentine type "milanesa" that reminds the best ones from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Their Black cold coffee is a recommended end for a dinner.

“A perfect dining experience at Cafe Noir:)”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

We had a perfect Parisian experience in Cafe Noir.

Israeli waiters tend to be pleasant and professional, but ours (Dafna) has exceeded all expectations.

We have had 2 starters - smoked salmon with a side potato salad, and a green salad with caramelized pears and Saint Maure cheese, two mains - sweet potato ravioli and a fantastic veal schnitzel (a specialty).

We had our starters about 5 minutes after the order, and the rest of the service was fast, professional and on the highest level. All the dishes were superb!

2 cocktails, 2 coffees and a dessert followed (Pears and Almond Cream Tart), and the whole experience cost us about a 100$ - but well well worth it.

The music and overall atmosphere were just whats needed to relax and have a perfect date:)

Happily recommend the place and we'll be back for more!
