“Used to be much better....and cheaper!!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

We enjoyed eating at the Thai House when it first opened many years ago. It's kept up its authentic menu but the prices have skyrocketed. Unfortunately the quality of the food is not as good as it used to be. The sauce that our noodles, beef, broccoli and mushrooms was cooked in reeked of fish sauce and was at the same time too sweet. We should have sent it back...the waiter didn't even ask why we barely ate it. We ordered the red curry with moulard duck...the meat was impossible to chew and the curry too spicy (I was surprised to learn from the waiter that in this authentic Thai restaurant they use a pre-made curry mix... so they can't adjust the spiciness.)

And a bowl of moulard curry (with spring rolls first and a soft drink) should not cost almost $20.

In terms of price there are far better choices for business lunches..And for Asian food better choices are Zozobra and also Zepra.

I will not be going back to the Thai House.

“The Food was great, we came home sick”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

The resturant has an authentic vibe, and then food was really great, the downfall was that 2 out of 3 friends caught somthing there and ended up being sick all night... not a very pleasent way to end

“Best Thai in Israel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2012

Well known secret but still - this is by far that most authentic, consistent and great Thai restaurant in Israel. Great for nice dinner with family / friends. Great food and always a pleasure.

“OK. Over priced for Thai!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

Tasty but nothing to write home about. Also for Thai food it's expensive!
The food came out very quickly, the bill was a bit of a struggle to secure.
The place was packed and the atmosphere average.

One of the best thai food outside of Thailand, and one of the best restaurants in Tel aviv.

Very good value for money.
