“best for architecture buffs”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Just walk around on your own to see this section of Tel Aviv. I took the weekly free walking tour of the area and was, frankly, bored after 15 minutes. Only about 10% of the structures have been renovated. Most are fairly dilapidated.

“Bauhaus!”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

Walk around the central parts of Tel Aviv and especially along Rotschild street. The White City refers to a collection of over 4,000 Bauhaus style buildings built in Tel Aviv from the 1930s by German Jewish architects who fled from from the Nazis. Tel Aviv has the largest number of buildings in this style of any city in the world.
