Please note this is similar to my review on booking.com, so excuse the similarities

The hotel is located very close to the beach, an easy 2 minute walk to a public beach. Half of the rooms have beach views, but there are some newer buildings that block some of the views. We stayed in a family suite. It was good sized with two bed rooms and a living room with a small kitchenette. The bathrooms are a bit dated in the fixtures, but the water pressure in the showers was excellent and if you are familiar with Israeli showers, the doors actually block the water from getting on the bathroom floor. We liked the soap that the hotel provided as well.

The room was clean, with good fast wifi. In the master bedroom there is a nice double bed, with a small closet for hanging up clothing, there isn't alot of room for luggage on the floor. The second bedroom had two single beds. Our kids were quite comfortable.

The breakfast in the morning was good. It is a typical Israeli style breakfast, my wife felt there wasn't much fresh fruit and slightly lacking compared to others we have had, but all-in-all we found it to be a solid Israeli breakfast.

The sitting room has a comfortable couch and a nice sitting chair. There is a small table with plastic chairs for eating.

As stated the walk to the beach is easy and the hotel provides beach towels. It was impressive to see how many local people were using the beach, working out on the boardwalk, running, biking. There is permanent work-out equipment on numerous beaches

Location is good if you are a walker. It is about 15 minutes walk to Shuk HaCarmel and Nahalat Binyamin. Also about 20 minutes to walk to Dizengoff. If you are a big walker, you can walk along the beach to Jaffa and to the Tel-Aviv port in North Tel-Aviv, but these are pretty long and not for everyone.

The staff was helpful, arranging a cab for us to drive to the airport in the morning and this worked out perfectly. They even told us how much to pay for the cab and the price they quoted was reasonable.

There are a few supermarkets just a block away on Ben Yehuda street, including a natural food store.

The hotel lets in a bit of street noise, I am a light sleeper and needed to use my earplugs, as Tel Aviv is a city that stays up late and I could hear street noise until late in the night.

The hotel is a bit dated in the fixing, lobby is nice and new, with clean eating area, but the elevator is small and the halls are a bit shabby.

We took the stairs most of the time, but the cleaning people seem to use the stairwells as storage closets during the day, making the use of them like a bit of an obstacle course

Returning after two years, we are happy to find that there is nothing lacking to make us comfortable: nice room with a very good bathroom and adequate kitchen-corner, good Wi-Fi, fantastic breakfast, lovely terrace, kind and helpful staff. The ease of reaching the beach and city center are additional advantages.

We were recommended this hotel by a wedding organiser and were very glad we took their advice. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, responding to every request and inquiry with patience and humour. The location is perfect, just yards from the beach, so a morning or evening swim is easy and towels readily available. The breakfast is typically Israeli, a vast buffet of freshly prepared goodies, constantly replenished. Tea, coffee, fruit, cake, biscuits and cold water are available 24 hours for guests and there is an attractive, decked area outside where you can relax on smart outdoor furniture. Our room was spotlessly clean and had a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, dishes, etc. so we could prepare a snack if desired. The only thing we missed was the sound on the BBC News channel, but this will hopefully soon be fixed!

Room Tip: If you can afford a rooftop terrace there are some beauties with sea views.... otherwise the balconi...

This is a small modern hotel, 2nd row from the beach (3 minutes by foot). The rooms are nice, modern decorated, with a kitchenette (regular fridge and 2 ring cooker). Clean and comfortable. We had a room on the side, with balcony in the shade with sea view. The balcony is large enough to sit outside. Great ! The bathroom is small, with bath/shower.

All the staff is great - pleasant, friendly and helpful.

The included breakfast was very good - pastries, cereals, fruits, lots of salad, coffee, juice, etc. Also, there was a different egg dish every morning. Great coffee and wonderful orange juice!
Good and free wifi, free parking in the underground garage - brilliant if you're with the car! Price moderate for Tel Aviv relations, as the overall price level is pretty high (as everywhere in Israel..).

Don't forget the 24/7 water, coffee and cookies available in the lobby - thanks !

Will definitely stay here again !!

Room Tip: Side suite with beach view.

I accidently wrote on old account but want to be sure readers who want personalized care and really honorable staff and owners will go to Lusky. We suffered a loss in June but hope to make the trip in September, just two of us then though as the third starts grad school and could only go in May. The owners were very nice and worked with us to book what we wanted and understood that we were nervous about the illness in the family and as it turned out we canceled. Wish US Air were as nice and understanding since we hope to re book on US AIR but so far they did not answer our certified mail as stated to do on line, request for refunds or at least waive the penalty so we can rebook September. Of course no reply. But Lusky understood and we canceled and now we hope to get the great balcony units with views in september.

Room Tip: go for balcony, high floor best you can afford and need and always a view.

We knew about Lusky fri. Friend who stayed there often.i was bringing my daughter and get boyfriend and booked largest two bedroom
Due to my husband 's illness I was concerned about possible cancel. And as a holiday keeps I knew popular so my Reservstion was tying up best large two bedroom two bath unit
The illness became dangerous and we cancelled. The nice owners had said the policy so if we had canceled last second one night lost would be worse situation. In the end we
cancelled and only a day or two before. I have experienced canceling within policy at other hotels and had to remind this hotels we cancelled on time. The Lusky owners were compassionate and offered wishes for my husband 's return to health and never charged is not always the case even when you cancel in policies

My husband is gravely I'll and in the ICU. We will rebook when we can perhaps six months as we want to see our fruends in
israel . The management at Lusky were so nice that we will plan the date if our trip around their availability as travelers shoukd recognize vendors of accommodations who are kind and compassionate in their correspondence to customers.
