Located right in the center of the action, on Dizengoff square, so you will not find yourself cut off from the nightlife, the cafes, the beach nor the shopping. It has been recently opened on a renovated Bauhaus building, and its design is in line with fashionable hotels. Although it is on the high end of the budget, Tel Aviv is a rather expensive town.
Staff was quite helpful and kind, rooms might be on the limit for small but are pleasantly decorated. Most rooms have views of the square, and have their own small terrace. There is also a nice rooftop terrace from where you can get a view of the city. Cable TV exists with different language channels, and wifi had good reception and speed.
Despite everything being directed towards the relaxation of guests, and maybe being tempted not to go out due to all the facilities making you feel cozy, there is one important thing missing: sound insulation. It might have been a way to cut costs, but as a result I could hear the garbage truck before 6am, and also the insistent coughing of the guest in the next room.
Breakfast is served in the hotel in front (just two steps away), but there are other options available at different cafes nearby. You can take on loan bikes from the hotel during your stay, but naturally their number is limited and one might wait for turns.
The hotel is worthy of being recommended as a city escapade, which can be good for Israeli weekends when not everything is open.
