“Great atmosphere and great views”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

One of the great places in Tel Aviv. Actually many of the city's main attractions are located near the Tayelet: Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv port,
Jaffa Port, old Jaffa, the Yrkon and even Rothshiled Blv is not far away.

“Nicely renovated”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

The Tayelet (or promenade) is in the process of renovation and you can walk all the way from North to Jaffa. Great breeze and scene, there is a new bicycle path as well. Go for it!

“A Ribbon of fun along the sparkling Mediterranean”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

The Tel Aviv tayelet (promenade) is currently a work in progress, but one that is definitely going in the right direction. It's a delightful walk (especially in the early morning or sunset hours) even on a blustery day when the sea puts on a great show, but the new bike path is really a great addition. Now, with a great public bike rental system, you can grab a bike anytime and ride all the way from the "wild" sand dunes of Tel Barukh to the North of Tel Aviv all the way to the impressive new Midron park in the South where Jaffa meets Bat Yam. Along the way you pass through the vibrant Tel Aviv port with a variety of shopping and cafe options, ride along the white sands of extremely accessible and happy beaches. Continue on through the park stretched along the breakers and cross the bridge that separates the "old" from the "new". The tayelet winds along the old sea wall into the colorful port of Jaffa which has been reinvigorated with art galleries and delightful fish restaurants. From one end to the other is a terrific day's activity or pick a section and take an invigorating walk or ride together with Tel Avivians out exercising.

“Best Sunset Ever”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

There are many shops and cafes and people do sunset yoga on the beach. Be sure to stop by the dog beach if you are love dogs.

The main promenade of Tel Aviv is a beautiful place to stroll in, especially when the sun sets over the horizon.
Expect to see loads of people in the numerous beaches (summer, fall, winter or spring time) and even more people jogging.
There are quite a few cafes, pubs and restaurants in the area, although I would avoid those who are set on the beach's sand, as they are mainly tourists' traps with high prices and average food.
