5 minutes walk from sea. Very friendly staff. Free wifi, great breakfast, free snacks and tea etc 24 hours a day. What more could I have wanted? For the building site over the road from my room to go away. Apart from that my 3 night stay was perfect. Will I come back if I need to work here again - yes no hesitation.

Save a bundle of $$ by not being directly on the beach, and go to this adorable little spot just a block removed. The room we got was small and spare, but perfect for our needs, and the complimentary breakfast is seriously worth getting up for.

I stayed here for 2 nights and quite possibly my favorite hotel in Israel out of the others I went to.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. Can speak and understand English well. They put effort into making our stay pleasant.

Good location- close to all things.

Almost like a home away from home, I, and the group I was a part of was sad to leave.

Even though there is construction directly out the front of the room, it was only during the day and I was out all day every day so it didn't matter.
Nice breakfast and WiFi was free all through the hotel.
Room and hotel was clean.

I recommend this hotel!

We had a very nice one-night stay at the Hotel De la Mer. Mickey at the front desk was very friendly, offered helpful thoughts about where to look for shops, restaurants etc. The hotel looks old from the outside, but the rooms were very nice, and anything that the staff could do to make the experience enjoyable was done. The breakfast was beautifully appointed, with many many choices and delicious hot and cold options, including the delicious shukshuka (eggs poached in a tomato sauce). There was a small roof deck with comfortable lounges and a shade structure. One small drawback is a construction site next door, but that's not the hotel's fault. We are now at a more expensive hotel nearby (the De la Mer was full), but the service is not as friendly or efficient.

Unfortunately right beside building sights (like a lot of Tel Aviv at the moment) but great central location, can walk pretty much everywhere.
Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Room was basic but clean and had everything you need.
Highlight was the fantastic staff that work there, extremely helpful and polite.

Nice hotel in a central location. It is on one of the busy streets of Tel Aviv and there is currently some construction works taking place, so if you wanted peace, quiet and tranquility then this isn't for you.

The hotel has 4 parking spaces so if you have a rental car get there early otherwise parking is an issue. The rooms are quite small, although perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable beds. Some have balconies. Breakfast is included and WIFI is free in all areas which was nice. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a stones throw from the beach, although not really decent sea views as it is one street back, and it is also close to the main shopping streets of Tel-Aviv.

I would go back.

This was my first visit to Tel Aviv, and I found that this small and very friendly Hotel was just what I needed. The reception staff were a great help organising trips and pointing me in the right direction for shops, markets, beaches etc. The room was very clean and tidy, with a good supply of towels and toiletries, and, although there are building works nearby, the beds are very comfy and I slept well. The breakfast selection was extremely good, with a wide range of dishes, that were always regulally restocked, and staff were always on hand to bring over fresh coffee ( I would return to this Hotel just for the breakfast alone) There is also Tea and coffee and often cake available through the day at no extra charge which is great if you have just been out for a long walk round the City. The location was great for the beach, and also the many shops and restaurants, it is an easy walk to the marina in one direction or the Carmel Market in the other, and, as I was travelling alone I felt totally safe and at ease.

Room Tip: The rooms to the front with the larger balconies would be preferable, the side rooms only have small...
