My husband and I stayed in Hotel De La Mer for six nights, 1/3 - 1/8, 2013. We found De La Mer to be a boutique hotel with the perfect location: we could see the Mediterranean- one block away - from the window of our room and, at the same time, walk (15 - 30 minutes) to the downtown sights and attractions. Although we were facing the busy Hayarkon Street, the noise was not bothersome. (We did notice some construction sites around the Hotel, but during our stay there was not much action there.)
The Hotel is sparkling clean. Our room was small and simple but very comfortable.
The staff was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful.
The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. They included typical Israeli salads, hot dishes, fresh fruit, and more.
We have had a great stay at the De La Mer and will return there whenever in Tel Aviv.More
