“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

I booked with Pink TLV because I wanted to stay some place that was obviously gay identified. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was basically renting a small studio apartment with a private bathroom for a few days. It worked out very well, and the staff was prompt and friendly. Keep in mind, though, that this is not a hotel; there is no full time staff on site. This is also not a bed and breakfast. You can get a breakfast voucher (I assume you pay for this) for a couple of very nearby places. I didn't do this, but I did eat at the place on Tchernikovski, and it was very good. There was a fridge and you can make coffee/tea in the place, too. The room I had was small but adequate for my needs; there was some noise as I was right in the front by the door in the Alshaikh building. Housekeeping could have been better, and more towels could have been provided. Tel Aviv is so gay friendly I don't think there's a real need for an obviously gay identified place, but I appreciated it. All things considered, though, it was a great place that made possible some terrific memories in Tel Aviv.

A nicely designed place with a pleasant atmosphere, in a great location (2 minutes walk from the beach!). Room was nice and clean. The staff was kind and helpful and had great tip regarding the nightlife and the scene.
Loved the roof terrace.

Pink TLV Gay Townhouse is the perfect place to stay in Tel Aviv. It's located right in the city center, close to the beach, next to the beautiful Carmel market and only a short walk from Rothschild Boulevard. At the same time it is quiet, because the Townhouse is in a residential area with cute little houses and dreamy narrow streets.
The townhouse has beautiful rooms on 2 levels around a little courtyard. On the rooftop you have a terrace with a stunning view over the neighbourhood and big parts of Tel Aviv. Up there we got quickly in touch with the other guests, which was very nice.
Our room was completely newly furbished, very clean and very nicely decorated. The hosts, Eyal and Nir, made sure we know about the best places to go, the hottest parties and the coolest shops, nice restaurants in the area and bars for guys every age. I can very much reccomend this place.

Staying here was everything I had hoped for and more. The place itself is wonderful, the other guests staying there quickly became friends and companions, and the owners (Eiyal and Nir) were amazing at helping get to know the city, get around, and suggest all the best restaurants, parties, and special places in town I would have never known about otherwise. HIGHLY reccommended. A perfect blend of hotel and local citizens experience. Thank you guys for an amazing vacation! :-DDD

Tel aviv is fairly expensive so this guest house was value for money. The guesthouse was like a three bedroom house with comfortable secure rooms and a nice working bathroom and reasonable sized kitchen. Air conditioning worked well and there were plenty of blankets and heater when it got cold. Coffee / tea and sugar were supplied free of charge and there was a computer if you needed to get on internet (although printer wasn't working). Wifi worked throughout the guest house.
The room I stayed in was next to a lane way so that it did become noisy throughout the night and early morning even if closing the window. In relation to location, most bars and clubs were a15 to 30 min walk away and the gay beach was a 45 min walk although a bus could be caught there which took 15 min. There was a small number of Cafe and restaurants in the area but numerous take away food places. A supermarket was around 10 Min walk away.

The Pink house consist of two buildings and I tried them both in two trips to Tel Aviv. The first building has three rooms and shared bathroom, kitchen and a seating area. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Because of the shared thing, I could easily get to know the other residents at the guesthouse.

The other house is more expensive with rooms more like little studios. Very convenient, and there is a terrace on the roof. That house is more "private" than the other. Both are in fantastic location right next to the Tel Aviv market.

I highly recommend this guesthouse and will use it again in my next trip to Tel Aviv.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with windows to the street
